Sunday Thanks

This week’s post is about wishing everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Whether you’ve already celebrated or your festivities haven’t begun, I hope you have taken some time to reflect on what you’re thankful for so far in your lives. If you haven’t already, it’s really comforting to take a few moments to think about what you’re grateful for and to set some goals of self-reflection. I hope you were able to spend time with your family/friends, eat some good thanksgiving feasts, even try out some baking (check out my fall favorites blog for some inspo), or get outside and enjoy the last little bits of the perfect weather before it gets too cold! I also hope you took some time to yourself to relax because what better way to end a busy week with a long weekend to do absolutely whatever you want!

Anyways, for me, I am thankful for all of you who have been reading my blogs and supporting me through this journey because I am still learning every day and trying to spread as much positivity as possible and appreciate the feedback and compliments! I am also thankful for my AMAZING family and friends ALWAYS who support me constantly and are truly lights in my life who lift me up and surround me with positivity. I know it may be hard to find something to be thankful for when we’ve all received some negativity this year with many events, but there is always light at the end of the tunnel and I hope you can think of something amazing you’ve learned so far or a goal you have almost accomplished!

Also, spread kindness today and every day! Yesterday was mental health awareness day, and as someone who advocates for awareness and our personal well-being, I wanted to just touch on the thought of being considerate of everyone and to choose kind always (quoted by my favorite elementary teacher) because internal challenges are not always shown and we need to normalize the battles we have to mentally fight with our biggest competitors, ourselves. Trust me when I say dealing with your own thoughts is a world and struggle of its own and its okay to take some time to heal and lift yourself up with self-love. It’s amazing to see the kindness many spread in their lives, but it’s also super important to be kindest to ourselves, our bodies, our minds because the world cannot move forward without your inner support towards yourself.

Check out my Instagram post for some more inspiration and mental health awareness talk:) (I’ll link down below)

Enjoy your weeks, feel the self-love, create your contagious positive energy, and once again, Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
