Over the last week, I have no idea why, but since we are coming up to the original quarantine one-year anniversary, everything has been reminding me of last March. The spring air, Netflix, baking, and everything I do now continues to take me back to that time. And everyone started talking about the trends again… Outer Banks, the tiger show, whipped coffee, when tik tok was first a thing, it’s all coming back and it’s weird.
Anyways, besides the eeriness of this week, I wanted to give a short OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) because I got super busy today and didn’t get the chance to write what I originally wanted. And you know what. That’s okay! I am here to say that small disappointment is natural for everyone when we don’t get to be as productive as we want. And for that, plans tend to change more than we know. However, I hope to get back on track and have a longer blog for next week:)
I have been trying to steer away from wearing sweatpants all the time and even though I am still wearing a sweater, I still believe this is the most put together I have looked in weeks.
Starting with my glasses – URBAN OUTFITTERS
I think I found these last year… I have collected a lot of different pairs over the years but these are definitely my current go-to.
Sweater – LONELY GHOST
I think I have impulsively bought way too much but I love the brand and the message they try to share. Plus my favorite influencer, Indy Blue, created it and it is so unique. The reason I bought this sweater was that its message was all surrounding love, self-love, and positivity which speaks directly to my blog so it was a sign for me.
Pants – ARITZIA
Over quarantine, I decided to change my wardrobe frequently and I was always struggling with finding the perfect pair of pants. Well… Here they are. Of course, leggings will always and forever be my go-to but these can be casual or fancy and they are so comfortable. Plus, I don’t own many pairs that aren’t black so I appreciated my change in style.
I know that was short and sweet but hopefully that gave you a little outfit inspo for a more “put together” look:)
Stay Kind:)
