Hope everyone is having a great week despite being in another lockdown.
This week, to continue our self-love mental health journey, I am going to share some of my favorite sweater brands that support and believe in being our best selves and promoting a positive mental health message. I have shared over a few weeks some of my favorite brands already, but as an addicted impulse sweater buyer, I thought it would be fitting to have one place with some of my favorite brands.
I have come to the conclusion that I make really impulse decisions when it comes to buying clothes… I don’t know what it is but I get a vision when I see a piece of clothing and if it is really suiting, I literally can’t stop thinking about it until I buy it. UGH, such an impulse decision. Anyway, I truly love getting the chance to research and purchase from some AMAZING brands, and every time I get a package, it is something that I continuously wear literally all the time.
The first store is SHOP KAIRO. They are based in the US and although customs come in play sometimes with charges and pricing, I have never regretted ordering something from this shop. I got the opportunity to be a part of the KAIRO family and every day I am so happy to be a part of this brand supporting a positive mental health lifestyle. From their self-love sweaters to addressing anxiety and growth, every aspect has you wearing a comfy sweater and owning this part of yourself proudly.
I’ve really enjoyed seeing the progression and creation of so many shops over the course of the quarantine and although we are still working towards ending the mental health stigma, I am really happy to see that awareness and the use of clothes to promote a happy and healthy lifestyle. It is also creating this MASSIVE community that relates to one another and understands the struggle some of us go through. Seeing the positive growth of awareness brings so much hope for where we will be in the future!

The next brand is not going to come as a surprise, considering I literally post with it ALL DAY EVERYDAY.
LONELY GHOST.
I think if I had the chance, I could write a full-blown blog about how much I love this brand.
But I am going to try and make it short and sweet.
I’ve known about Lonely Ghost for a long long time. It was created by my IDOL, Indy Blue (Indy Severe). I discovered her from my sister when she was posting a lot of youtube videos of her traveling. I literally watched one video and knew that she was the coolest person alive. period.
Anyway, I’ve followed her journey and she has the coolest clothing brand I have probably ever encountered in my life. You probably think I am addicted, and while that is one hundred percent true… I have a good reason. Every single collection speaks to me. You know when you are consumed in your thoughts and you think that you are the only one who thinks that… and then out of nowhere your best friend brings it up, and you are relieved that someone agrees with you. Lonely Ghost creates that situation with every single collection. That’s why my closet consists mainly of this brand. From self-love to owning the part of me that cares too much (because Indy made it cool) to bringing in music and realizing I have the coolest girl gang of life. Indy has inspired me to own this part of myself that was too scared of judgment. And she promotes being yourself so you can live your best life which is currently the dream. I think a lot of my growth over the last year to becoming who I am has been a guided self-journey, but I would be lying if I said Indy wasn’t a big inspiration to that. (INDY I HOPE YOU SEE THIS).
From short and sweet to a full paragraph, that is the most concise I could make it. And that’s why I will always post about Lonely Ghost.

Another favorite I actually recently just found. SEROTONIN SUPPLY.
When I’m scrolling through Pinterest, I always come across and save a lot of outfit inspiration. But I never know where any of this stuff is from. Luckily, I came across a Tik Tok the other night that saved me from spending hours researching what these brands were. I learned about Serotonin Supply and started scrolling through their website. The moment I laid eyes on the crewneck, I absolutely knew I needed to get it. I saw the message of serotonin and just continuing to work towards being happy and I couldn’t stop myself one bit from adding it to my cart.

It’s amazing to see how much these brands have impacted me because for people that have a life goal to pursue making clothes, the message has inspired me in a way I didn’t know was possible.
