Monthly Goals

HELLO!

I know I said I was going to have this ready for yesterday but it actually worked out that this week’s blog fits better with today since it’s the first day of June.

Actually typing that blows my mind because it is already June wow.

I graduate this month… My last days of high school are coming closer to zero. Kind of crazy.

I haven’t really talked specifically into goal setting in a while so this blog is basically my personal list of goals for the month of JUNE, or pretty much before I graduate.

I’ve been in the same routine for a while now, other than moving houses, a lot of the same things are going on day to day. And I haven’t been able to figure out what I actually want to accomplish to feel productive and to feel like my best self.

So I am making a month goal-setting list: that way I have time to accomplish things and get back into the routine of being productive.

JUNE GOALS:

  • Read a full book – I bought some books from indigo about a month ago (thank you booktok) thinking I would fly through a few and get back into my old reading habits (which were actually good, I used to read a lot) but this was nowhere near accomplished. I am going to hold myself to it to finish at least ONE book this month.
  • Yoga – I keep reminding myself how much I LOVE yoga and practicing and literally every time I do it, I feel so much better. But keeping the routine is the real challenge and this is important to build in more wellness practicing into my day.
  • Halt my shopping obsession – this is probably going to be the hardest challenge. Since the beginning of quarantine, I have become quite the shopper. Now, being honest, everything I have bought I have either returned or fully used but it is not the best thing to continue to do. My goal is to SAVESAVESAVE especially for uni purposes, so the shopping is going to have to slow down A LOT.
  • Finish the school year strong – When thinking of this, I mean my productiveness when it comes to homework. I have almost lost my motivation for completing school work (even though I attend all my classes). But there are only three weeks left and finishing strong will have me feeling accomplished when I complete my last day of high school.
  • Find new recipes! AND SHARE THEM! – I feel like I have fallen out with posting more recipes on here so my goal is to find, try, experiment, and share with you some delicious summer recipes.

I will probably continue to edit this during the month of June but at least it’s a start and hopefully this a step towards some motivation!

STAY KIND:)
