blogmas (grace’s version)

HAPPY SUNDAY!

Twas’ the midst of exam season, and all through the house, a university student was studying (well actually actively procrastinating, but trying her best). Stressed as she was, she continued to ponder; will she succeed? It made her wonder. Worry filled her brain, and she scrammed to read and memorize content. Or was all her energy just spent? Only time will tell whether she will excel, through her exams and finally enjoy her holiday break.

I’m starting something new. I actually started it on Friday, but I’m basically starting a blogmas series; here + on my Instagram (@gracefullblog). This is my way of holding myself accountable for actually making plans and doing wellness/holiday activites. I feel like documenting mini moments from the day or recapping some of the activities I do will kind of motivate me in a way to continue this trend of choosing myself and what makes me happy. SO YES, blogmas. It’s happening.

Today is technically day 3.

SO today, my self-care was my hair appointment. Once in a blue moon (every four months) I get my hair done. It makes me feel like a new person, literally. My self-care type of morning in the peak exam week. BUT, we deserve to treat ourselves. So I got my little holiday starbucks drink, as one would, and I went to my appointment. And it was just so fulfilling.

I’ve been noticing my energy getting low again though. And I can never pin point what in my life is draining my energy. Maybe it’s just a compilation of everything. My holiday goal is to figure out ways to increase my energy. Whether it’s foods, vitamins or activities that I am lacking, I want to somehow navigate through this low energy realm. Or maybe I just need a break. Whatever it is, this is my main goal of the holiday break.

I am gonna keep this short and sweet today.
