consistency…

HAPPY SUNDAY!

I am fortunate enough to have new year’s eve fall on my blog posting sundays this year, so I wanted to make sure that I got something posted just in time to ring in the new year.

I’m changing things up a bit… a bit cliche isn’t it? Just in time for the New Year. But this change is because of one of my goals for 2024, which is to be more consistent. This parent’s a few smaller goals. Consistency in maintaining my blog, consistency in making wellness plans for myself, consistency with surrounding myself with soul fillers (that’ll expand more in another blog). But you get the idea. Just being consistent in the things I have been inconsistent in. So I am not changing like a light switch, but implementing a lot more consistency in my life. I think it’s something I really need. Showing up for myself, and continuing to maintain a routine that I enjoy and that I look forward to.

I have recently discovered this internal motivation that has just started to bloom. And I need to take advantage of the fact that it is here. So I have started implementing things into my days in hopes of them becoming habits in the new year. This is already testing my ability to stay consistent with aspects of my life.

This type of stability is important. Without it, we can’t form new habits, or attain certain goals. It truly is a drive toward our motivation. And it definitely reduces procrastination.

I have a lot of dreams for 2024. Dreams that I plan on making into my reality. And this consistency thing, is the first step in attaining them. I want this to be a year for me. To be doing things for myself, my mental health, my wellness, my mind, body and soul. It’s important to show up for yourself and to build this inner confidence that you are fulfilled. YOU are a priority. Please keep it in your mind as you decide to lead this year.

To think another year has passed already and so much more life has been lived is a crazy feeling for me. Almost unsettling all while being amazing. The idea of continuing to grow up is one that never sits right for me. Just thinking how life moves so fast sometimes. That’s why I make it a point to mention just stopping to look around every once in a while. To look at the decisions you have made that has lead to where you are now. And to look at what you have created for yourself.

I hope this next year is very fulfilling for all of you. That you try your best to make decisions benefitting your path and your wellness and your mental health.

STAY KIND:)

happy new year <3

with love

grace
